Parody or prescient? 'Here Comes Another Bubble'

The Richter Scales music video, "Here Comes Another Bubble," perfectly nails and skewers life in Silicon Valley.

The Richter Scales, self-described "Gentlemen Songsters" from the Bay Area, nail the insanities of digital life in their music video "Here Comes Another Bubble."

Michael and I met at party at an Eichler on Middlefield Road in Palo Alto. I was a grad student at Stanford, he was practically living in his office. He wouldn't ask me on a date until he had hired a director of marketing for his startup, Cygnus Support.

Now when our daughter asks what is was like to be a twentysomething in Silicon Valley before the 2000 bubble burst, waiting for the startup to pay off, plopping down big bucks for a small house, etc. we can just say "Watch this!"
