Not wanting to be left out of the game, so to speak, Panasonic is bundling free Wiis with its plasma televisions in a promotion it's calling a Full High Definition Christmas.

Insert urination joke here.

We're not going to point out the obvious fact that the Wii isn't even proper standard definition as we recognise it in this country (it's 480p NTSC, and ok, 576i) but it's a decent bundle nevertheless.

The promotion begins on the 29th November and ends on the 24 December, 2008 and buyers will receive a redemption for a Wii console worth AU$399.

The eligible models include all of the 1080p plasmas in Panasonic's range, from the 42-inch TH-42PZ80A and TH-42PZ800A all the way up to the new 58-inch TH-58PZ850A and 65-inch TH-65PZ850A. Four of last year's 700 series models and the 65-inch 600 series are also included.
