OSX Server AFP/Mac Manager bug: Invalid AFP user error

CNET staff
Bill Bratches has found a problem (and a fix) for a problem that disables the ability to log-in to MacManager admin. He writes: "On June 22 I was setting up our G4 server at school with OSX server 10.0.3. I configured MacManager with a test workgroup and a couple of dummy users. Everything worked fine until I restarted the server. After that, I no longer could log-in to MacManager admin from any workstation. Instead I received was an "invalid AFP user" dialog box. I talked to Apple, and at first they thought it was due to updating the server to 10.0.4. However, they duplicated the problem on 10.0.3 machines. It seems that servers restarted on or after June 22 will exhibit this bug. After setting the server's clock back about a month, everything worked fine again. This simple fix will work until a real fix is released in the next couple of weeks."
