OS X Odds & Ends: Timbuktu security leak?; Disk image does not unmount

Timbuktu Pro security leak? Peter Stern informs us of a "security problem" with the OS X version of Timbuktu Pro: "If OS X has the screensaver password protected and a remote user initiates a chat session, when you type your password to unlock the screen, your password is captured by Timbuktu and sent out over the chat session."

Disk image does not unmount: the solution We had a problem where, after mounting a disk image file stored on a CD, we could not unmount the disk image nor eject the CD. Attempts to do either were greeted with a "The operation could not be completed because the disk is in use" error. We tried closing all open applications and Finder windows, to no avail. We tried Force Quitting the Finder. The image would still not unmount. Even logging out and logging back in had no effect (the disk image was still mounted and still refused to unmount after the re-log). Restarting did work, but we were hoping from something less extreme. We finally found it: Selecting Eject (Command-E) from the Finder's File menu worked. The disk image file was unmounted. We could then eject the CD. Previously, we had been dragging the image file to the Trash icon. Note: This problem does not occur all the time; we are investigating further as to what the specific cause may be.
