Solving slow PPP connect problems This Apple Discussions thread suggests deleting the ppp.log file as a way to solve a stall when trying to connect to the Internet via PPP. It also adds info on checking the hostconfig file and suggests doing this with BBEdit (via its "Open Hidden" command) rather than Unix text editors.

Brother HL1240 driver coming Paul Galanti received the following note from Brother about a OS X driver for the HL1240 printer: "The driver currently available on the Brother Solutions web site works with the HL1250 and HL1270N printers only. A new HL1240 Mac OS X driver should be posted on the web site before 7/30/01." See also previous item.
