HP 2100tn tray 3 not recognized A reader writes: "With HP's latest LaserJet driver, it is still impossible to utilize tray 3 on the HP 2100tn. According to HP. 'Under Mac OS X, designation of Tray 3 as a paper source is not yet supported. It is planned for a future release of the Mac OS X HP software installer. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.'"

Entourage v.X dials PPP even if Network settings disabled? Phill Tejada writes: "Although my PPP connection is set to manual dialing only, Entourage still dials the connection when invoked from a schedule. Entourage’s schedules are all set to maintain current state, and there doesn't seem to be a preference setting to allow Entourage to control the PPP connection."

Umax Astra 2100U drivers under Classic Jonathan Greenberg reports that although the FAQ on UMAX's Web site states that "both MagicScan and VistaScan will not run in the OS 9 Classic Environment," the combination appears to work. He writes: "I use VistaScan under Classic. There is even an advantage over running it in Mac OS 9.2: you can do other things while scanning is occurring (under 9.2 the scan must finish before you can do anything else). The only problem is that the power saving features don't engage. Presumably, unless you boot up 9, the bulb will stay on."
