NetBarrier for OS X coming Intego informed Anthony Kassir about its future plans: "We endeavor to port our products to Mac OS X. However, developing software is tricky and engineering time frames can be unpredictable. Our first release will be NetBarrier for OS X, it will be a cocoa version. It is taking more time but the program should be really optimized for this brand new OS. We expect to release our first Mac OS X version this Winter. A public Beta should be soon available for download on our web-site."

Wacon tablets and Painter 7: update coming; work-around now D.C. Roberts received the following from Wacom Technical Support regarding Wacom tablets not having pressure response in OS X with Painter 7: "Painter 7 was released prior to the release of the Wacom OS X driver and does not yet support the OS X native API (Application Programming Interface) for tablets. ProCreate is working on the implementation of an upgrade with native OS X support and plans to release it as soon as possible. In the meantime, you should launch Painter 7 in OS 10.1 Classic space in order to get full tablet functionality. To do so: Select Show Info for the Painter 7 icon and select the checkbox 'Open in the Classic environment.'"
