ORB Tools 1.26: looking good

CNET staff
Regarding the recently released ORB Tools v. 1.2.6, most initial feedback has been positive, suggesting that it fixes most (or all?) problems with the previous versions:
David Benesc writes: This version fixes most if not all of the problems I've been experiencing from the very beginning. I no longer have to remove the driver from startup, it initializes correctly, I only see one drive on my chain, it verifies correctly, etc."

Jefferson Le Blanc concurs: "The latest version of ORB Tools (v.1.2.6) actually seems to work. Though I've only been using it for a few days, it appears to correct all the errors I was encountering with earlier versions. Multiple disks are gone; the disk doesn't vanish from the desktop if I try to update the driver; the disk is ejected properly if I restart or shut down the computer; and, best of all, if I have a freeze and must do a forced restart with the ORB disk still in the drive, I no longer get a stalled restart at the happy Mac, requiring me to pull out the power cord from the ORB drive in order to get the disk to eject so I can start up."
