Optima Technology status report: a follow-up

Recently, we noted the availability of updates to Optima Technology's DeskTape Pro (and other Optima products). More generally, when Robert Finkstein asked Optima for information about support for DeskTape Pro, he received the following reply from Michael DeCorte:

"I'm sure that some of you are wondering what is going on with Optima. Well, Optima is in ..... limbo. It seems that some want to close and some aren't sure what want to do. The good news is that some of the ex-employees were really upset as to how Optima dropped customer support so we are here to help you! In addition to providing technical assistance, we can provide you with software upgrades and answer any questions or concerns that you have."
