The stars of HBO's hit fantasy series "Game of Thrones" gathered in San Francisco Wednesday for a premiere of Season 5, and were barraged with questions from reporters as they walked the red carpet. Talking with Popsugar, Peter Dinklage, who plays Tyrion Lannister, accidentally let slip a pretty major spoiler for the upcoming season.

Caution: Spoiler ahead. Do not continue reading if you don't want to know it.

We already know from previous interviews with George R.R. Martin that a character who doesn't die in the books is going to be killed off in Season 5, but we now know it won't be Tyrion Lannister. Popsugar asked Dinklage which one question he would ask Martin if given the chance, and he answered with the obvious one on everyone's mind: "Do I die?"

A pretty understandable question given that nobody in the series knows when their character is going to be the next one on the wrong side of a sword or arrow, but it was Dinklage's follow-up statement that gave away his character's fate. Dinklage said "we're going to start Season 6 soon, and I want to know," then saying that "I guess I did a spoiler there, that I apparently don't die this season."

Of course, if Dinklage is going to be filming Season 6 soon, that means he's definitely going to make it through Season 5, so we won't see Tyrion Lannister killed off for at least the next 10 episodes.
