Official Hyundai blog shows off 2013 Genesis Coupe
Hyundai gives us our first peek at the 2013 Genesis Coupe on its Korean-language blog.
Depending on your opinion of Hyundai's Fluidic Sculpture design language, the 2013 Genesis Coupe is either about to get a lot better-looking or much worse.
On the automaker's Korean-language blog, the clearest shots yet of the next iteration of the sportiest Hyundai can be found. The frontal shot clearly shows off the new, more Veloster-like front end that we got at some time ago. LED fog lamps are also visible in the shot beneath the ornate headlamps.
A rear shot showcases a new spoiler, new organically styled taillamps, and what looks like sensors for a rear proximity system. A "380GT" badge seems to indicate that the 3.8-liter V-6 engine's displacement will not be changing anytime soon. Presumably, the 2.0-liter turbocharged engine will also remain an option.
Running the blog post through Google Translate and then further decoding the results seems to indicate that Hyundai could be pulling the wraps off of the rest of the next Genesis Coupe as early as the Chonnam National Yeongam F1 Speed Festival on November 12.
