Off-topic: Tottenham 5 Arsenal 1 (Carling Cup)

Arsenal

Ouch. It's been a really bad day, what with my incorrect reporting of MySQL + Oracle and now this. It's a meaningless competition but to lose to the Spurs even in a pickup game is embarrassing.

Yet lose Arsenal did, and badly. Nor can the team claim to have lost purely with its reserves, as Hleb, Gallas, Adebayor, Fabregas, etc. all played. It was just a bad day, coming too soon after Arsenal's Saturday match. The good news, however, is that Tottenham will be road kill for Chelsea, thus depriving the Spurs of any redeeming value from this 2007/08 season.
