CNET staff

Universal version of USB Overdrive on the way We previously reported, as part of our Rosetta compatibility coverage, that the input device utility USB Overdrive does not function properly under PowerPC-emulation.

We've now received word that a new, Universal (Intel-native) version of USB Overdrive is in the works, and should be available shortly.

MacFixIt reader Doug Metz writs:

"Just got this response from Alessandro Levi Montalcini (developer of USB Overdrive): 'I'll receive my Intel iMac today or tomorrow, and a new version of the USB Overdrive should be released by next week or so.'"
