Timbuktu Pro logout bug workaround Mats Anderling reports a potential workaround to the previosuly reported Timbuktu Pro logout bug:

"In Timbuktu preferences, check the 'allow only one visitor to access this computer at a time' and 'Log out this computer after each visitor is finished.' When you then disconnect from the remote server, wait a few moments and the server will automatically log you out. Then you can reconnect and log in as a different user."

Quicken 2003 Bill Pay bug Stephen Paullada reports further incidence of the Quicken 2003 Bill Pay bug, and a tedious workaround:

"I had the Quicken Bill Pay bug with Quicken 2002. The only way I could solve it was to create a new data file and import transactions back into it. I was a 2002 beta tester and the problem existed throughout the test. It is apparently due to Quicken 'updating' data files created with prior versions of Quicken. Qhen sending payments, Quicken 2003 restores, and thereby duplicates, previous transactions in the check register. This creates havoc with the balance and can only be solved by deleting the duplicate transactions."
