Thai language issues with iPod A MacFixIt reader notes some issues with Thai characters on a 60 GB iPod:

"I am running iTunes 5.0.1 and it displays a multitude of languages without problems (e.g. English, Swedish, French, German, Russian, Japanese) and all of these transfer across to the iPod without any problems. Some songs in Thai (with the Thai script) display excellently in iTunes but on the iPod (a 60GB recent iPod with photo capabilities) all Thai songs are displayed simply as empty spaces."

Midwest Airlines drops Mac support MacFixIt reader Jack Maher lets us know that Midwest Airlines has apparently dropped online support for Mac browsers:

"I live in the Milwaukee Wisconsin area and travel by air frequently on business. We have (had) a very fine and Mac friendly Milwaukee (MKE) based airline in Midwest Airlines (AKA Midwest Express Airlines).

"About a week ago I booked a flight on their web site and then, before leaving for the airport, did the online check-in, printing my boarding pass and receipt. This saves me the time and aggravation spent in the usually long line for check in at the airport.

"The night before I left to return home to MKE, I once again went to their web site to do online check-in. To my disappointment, their site had been "Upgraded" and online check in was now blocked to Mac users, 'Macintosh computers are not supported.'

"[...] Online check-in is important to me as I never travel with luggage and can skip the long lines at the airport check in/curbside check-in. This is not acceptable. Earlier this week, I had to fly on a last minute (i.e. expensive), overnight flight to D.C. I flew Northwest Airlines."
