More on eMac display problems Ivan Ramos, who works for an Apple Specialist as an Apple service technician, says that he has seen several eMacs with detrimental display problems:

"I have been seeing at least one eMac a week for video problems since the release to the general public.Problems have consisted of

• Video Discoloration
• Shrinking Video
• Jittery Video
• Popping with a Flash of lightAs well as some miscellaneous non-video related problems.
  
  

"The most common is the shrinking video. Most are less than a month out of the box."

Stuffit Deluxe 7.0 icon placement Paul MacLead reports that Stuffit Deluxe 7.0 randomnly places newly unstuffed files on the desktop, rather than placing them in the sequential spot like previous versions:

"Stuffit comes upautomatically when I download stuffed files, but when I select the archive and unstuff the file it puts it in a random place on the screen. The previous version used to drop it at the next available spot in the column (I have the desktop snap to grid)."
