Odds and Ends: .Mac storage upped, new features added; BBEdit 8.x printed manuals

.Mac storage upped, new features added Apple has increased both iDisk and e-mail storage capacity for its .Mac service. Combined storage space for .Mac Mail and iDisk now totals 250 MB. The following enhancements have also been made:

• Maximum mail message size is increased to 10 MB
• E-mail aliases
• A new online spell checker that includes customizable dictionary
• New Mail management utilities

BBEdit 8.x printed manuals may be available on demand soon One of our favorite tools here at MacFixIt, BBEdit, not longer ships with a printed manual (as of version 8.0)

However, an e-mail received by MacFixIt reader John Salem indicates that on-demand printing of the electronic manual may soon be an option:

"We regret to say there are no longer printed manuals for BBEdit. The complete user manual is provided under the help menu in Adobe Reader (PDF) format. However, we are considering arrangements to offer the manual via a print-on-demand service, and should this happen, we will be sure to let you know."
