Final Cut Pro HD 4.5 not compatible with new Power Mac G5s, iMacs As noted in Knowledge Base article #24991 (and by MacFixIt reader Jim Hays), the new Power Mac G5 and iMac G5 systems with PCI Express expansion capabilities are not compatible with Final Cut Pro HD 4.5.

As such, those upgrading to the new PCI Express machines will also have to upgrade to Final Cut Pro 5.
