Fewer Power Mac G5 BTO video card options available MacFixIt reader Patrick Ellis rightly notes that two previously available video card options are no longer accessible when purchasing a build-to-order Power Mac G5 through the online Apple Store.

"Browsing the Apple Store (Canada) I've noticed that Apple has dropped 2 video card upgrade options for the G5 towers. Previously, there were a total of 4 video card options (4 for the entry and mid level, 3 for the higher end dual 2.5GHz) including Radeon 9600XT (128MB), Radeon 9800XT (Pro?), nVidia GeForce 6800 and nVidia GeForce 6800 Ultra DDL. Now only the 9600XT and Geforce Ultra DDL are listed. The same seems to apply to Apple U.S."
