Odds and Ends: Development of Slurp discontinued

Odds and Ends: Development of Slurp discontinued

CNET staff

Slurp is a small utility that maintains a database of all music files present on your iPod and allows you to sort and search through them. You can then copy all or part of them either as text listing or as regular files in order to get them back on your hard drive, or to burn them directly from your iPod by using your favorite CD/DVD burning program.

Unfortunately, Atvaark Development posted the following note of discontinuation to VersionTracker's Slurp user feedback page:

"Due to a lack of time for further development and the incompatibility of Slurp with AAC encoded files, Slurp has been discontinued. You will easily find many other up-to-date products that should fill your needs. My other software Cellulo is in no way concerned by this decision and remains fully supported and updated."
