Apple closes iTunes DRM loophole Apple has closed a loophole in iTunes that allowed users repeat, DRM-free access to restricted, AAC-encoded tracks via tools like PyMusique. PyMusique was labeled by its creator as "The fair interface to the iTunes Music Store."

Apple says a software update will be required for about 15% of iTunes users, and those using versions of iTunes prior to 4.7 will be unable to purchase tracks from the online music store.
