BoardScan has been updated again It reports on a possible Location Manager bug and several new TIL articles.

Yet another SETI bug reported Continuing our coverage of SETI@home problems, two readers report the same symptom: An "Error -16" after the program/screen saver has been left running unattended for a period of time.

Update: The Error -16 happens during attempted data transfers if the program is unable to connect to the server, probably because the server is down or swamped. A work-around is to set preferences to "Ask me before connecting to the Internet" and retry the connection manually at a later time. SETI@Home is aware of the problem. Here is a quote from their web page: "Our servers are overloaded. You have probably seen 'can't connect to server' messages; the problem is at our end, not yours." (Thanks, Mike Lettini, Peter Dodge, Jeff Steel, Doug Williams, Bill Hengeveld, and others.)
