Word X and timestamp errors: a follow-up Evidently the timestamp error we noted previously remains in 10.1.3. Gerry Altmann writes: "If I get info using the Finder, it's 7 hours ahead, but if I use the 'get more info' from Stuffit's MagicMenu it's 14 hours ahead! And if I use Xray, then the timestamp is just fine."

Force quitting Classic: keyboard shortcut Mike Strum claims that typing Command-Shift-Option-Q will kill Classic. However, this did not work for us when we tried it.

Final Draft updated Several users have pointed out that Final Draft has been updated to version 6.0.1.1.

Connect to Server problem solved Rod Yager writes: "For some weeks, I had been unable to connect to a Windows 2000 server on our LAN using Connect to Server. I discovered the problem was due to a corrupted preference file. After deleting com.apple.AppleShareClientCore.plist, I was able to connect without problems."

DVD region code follow-up We received a large number of replies to yesterday's coverage of an iBook DVD region code switching expiring after two changes.
