Virtual PC 4.02 bug and a fix Robert Longwell writes: "Virtual PC 4.02 is affected by the known Sound Preferences corruption bug of booting in OS 9, after having been booted in OS X. If the Sound Preferences file is corrupted Virtual PC will not start, instead it will give the 'out of memory' error. The fix is to delete the Sound Preferences file and restart."

Update: Charles Brownstein replies: "Deleting Sound Preferences did not work for me. VPC is hosed with low memory messages and a dimmed window."

CarbonLib 1.3.1 drag and drop problem solved by disabling N2MP3 We have previously covered a suspicion that CarbonLib 1.3.1 and the loss of drag and drop functionality was related to N2MP3. Now we have confirmation, although we suspect other causes as well. Koen Beerens writes: "I was able to restore drag & drop by disabling the N2MP3 Pro extension. Proteron told me that they are aware of the conflict and a new version is in works that will fix it."

Tony Hawk's and Rev. A iMac Aidan Lees points out something we've seen before from other vendors: somewhat ambigious system requirements. This time its Aspyr Media's Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2. Aidan points out that although the system requirements state that the program will run on any iMac, G3 or G4 Mac, the video requirements are such that they exclude the Rev. A iMac. We've seen this same oversight before with graphics intensive games such as Fly!.
