Sims House Party and QuickTime 5.0.5 conflict After updating to QuickTime 5.0.5, Sims House Party no longer appears to recognize that QuickTime is installed. Dan Henton writes: "When QuickTime 5.0.5 is installed on my daughter's iMac with Mac OS 9.1, if House Party launched a dialog appears that says QuickTime 4 is required, and offers to install it. Of course it won't install over the newer version of QuickTime. After reverting to QuickTime 4.1.2 manually House Party works fine once again."

CarbonLib 1.5 causes MS Intellimouse freezes? Chris Drozdowski writes: "I'm having problems with the mouse frequently freezing for several seconds since installing CarbonLib 1.5. I'm using a MS IntelliMouse with Mac OS 9.2.2." Update: We have several confirmations of this and a few denials. One reader replied: "It only seems to affect my Intellimouse Explorer model, not my Intellimouse Optical model which still seems to work fine."
