Retrospect and HotSync conflict? Jay Guyot writes: "At least one of the following Retrospect extensions (perhaps just the USB one alone) needed to be turned off to get my Palm HotSync to work: USB Travan TD U8000; Imation FW tape driver; Indigita FW tape driver; Spressa iLink CD-RW driver." As we have not had other reports of this, this may not be a general finding.

Illustrator 10 and AliasMenu? Steve Veloff kept getting Type 2 errors every time he launched Illustrator 10 under Mac OS 9.2.1. He eventually determined that it was due to a conflict with AliasMenu. If he disabled AliasMenu, Illustrator 10 ran fine.

Update: Benoit Widemann replies: "We are looking into it. In the mean time, there is no need to disable AliasMenu, only exclude Illustrator in AliasMenu's control panel."
