Keyspan DMR 2.01 & iTunes conflict? Don Nelson found that after upgrading to Keyspan Digital Media Remote 2.01, iTunes would crash during launch, requiring a force quit. Reverting to DMR version 2.0 resolved the problem.

Update: Troy Angrignon reports that this is the same bug that appeared in iTunes 1.0 with DMR 2.0. It was fixed in iTunes 1.1, only to return now between DMR 2.01 and iTunes 1.1.

SuperDrive, Toast 5, and ISO 9660 error A reader reports he is unable to burn a CD in the ISO 9660 format with Toast Titanium 5 on a SuperDrive. All other formats work fine, but any attempt to create an ISO 9660 disk results in the following error:

    Drive Reported an Error:
    Sense Key = HARDWARE ERROR
    Sense Code=0x08, 0x01
    LOGICAL UNIT COMMUNICATION TIME-OUT

Final Cut Pro serial numbers In a follow-up to our previous coverage of Final Cut serial numbers, a reader points out that some serial numbers are poorly printed, and often the letter "Q" appears to be an "O."

Final Cut Pro 2 on Beige G3 A reader reports that Final Cut Pro 2.0 cannot play or capture video on his Beige G3. An attempt to do either ends with an error type 12. The user was told by Apple that this is an unsupported configuration, although early documentation including this press release could be construed as supporting Beige G3s.
