Freeway at half price for Fusion users In response to NetObjects decision to cease development of Fusion on the Mac platform, SoftPress Systems has announced that it is offering Freeway 2 to all Fusion users at half price.

Nikon View Extension and Flash Card conflict A reader writes: "The Nikon View Extension 2.1.0, which is part of the installation that comes with the camera, locks mounted Flash Cards preventing any editing directly from the Flash Card. Removing this extension allows the Flash Card to mount unlocked. Unfortunately, removing the Nikon View Extension also removes the thumbnail icon feature. The latest firmware upgrade for the Nikon 950 does not address this problem as this is a software Extension problem, not a hardware problem. This has been confirmed with an Apple Tech and a Lexmar Tech. Also note: the File Sharing Extension must be present for Flash Cards to be recognized by Macs as Nikon formats Flash Cards using DOS."
