FontAgent X is out; install error? Although apparently not yet listed on their Web site, Edward Sikorski received an email from Insider Software to download FontAgent X for OS X (it's on their ftp site). This font repair utility has now added font management features. However, Ed has so far been unable to successfully install the update. He keeps getting a "Could not Set File Attributes" error. He is waiting for a reply from Insider on the matter.

Windows Media Player X work-arounds? Regarding the problem installing Windows Media Player X (as posted and updated yesterday), Jim Hassinger replies: "Recently, on the Microsoft newsgroups, I saw a fix I hadn't seen before. I tried it. It worked. Basically, got to System Preferences and, under the International tab, select another language as your default, then re-select English." The installation should now work.

Adam Vadala found that his problems installing WMP vanished after he ran DiskWarrior and let it rebuild the drive's Directory.
