Odds & Ends: FileMaker Pro 4.1; Epson drivers and ColorSync

FileMaker Pro 4.1: new features and fixes FileMaker Pro 4.1 has been announced (Thanks, MacNN). The new version adds critical ODBC (Open Database Connectivity), so you can import directly from Oracle, MS Access and other corporate databases. Version 4.1 also provides critical bug fixes and supports runtime features such as Kiosk Mode and Script menus. (Thanks, Dave Holst of YourOwnName.Com.)

Epson printer drivers and ColorSync 2.5.1 Ken Graham claims that Epson tech support told him that their printer drivers do not yet support ColorSync 2.5.1. Epson asserted that users should revert to ColorSync 2.0 for now. This continues reports of conflicts that date back to last November.
