DragThing work-around for Watson icon conflict Steve Mattson writes: "The new icon for Watson 1.5 will not work with DragThing 4.2.1. The work-around provided by James Thomson, the author of DragThing, is: Drag the new Watson 1.5 icon to the DragThing dock. You will not be able to select, launch or remove the Watson icon at this point using the mouse. Select an adjacent icon on the dock, use the arrow keys to select the new Watson icon. Select 'Item options...' from the contextual menu. Paste the old Watson 1.1 icon from show info over the existing one. Close 'Item Options.' DragThing will now launch Watson 1.5 with the mouse. A better fix is in the works."

Canon has since updated their web site to say: "This printer is not compatible with Mac OS X. For this model, Canon advises compatibility with Mac OS 8.6 - 9.1."

Do not use this with 533 MHz and up PowerMac G4s. Please wait for later versions." This could explain why some users are reporting problems with the software.
