Odds & Ends: CopyPaste; NetZero; Modems and voicemail

CopyPaste 4.4 crashes: solutions? Peter Weiss had the previously reported crashes when using CopyPaste 4.4. He found that trashing the CopyPaste items in the Preferences folder eliminated the crashes. George Mileon eliminated the problem by downgrading back to 4.3.2. Not everyone has this problem; Larry Fliegelman reported that it worked "great."

Modems and voice mail Apple TIL article #25034 states: "The modems in PowerBook G3 Series, PowerBook G3 Series (Bronze keyboard), and iBook computers do not support voice and cannot function as a speakerphone. The modem may work with some third-party voice mail applications, but Apple does not support the use of these applications."

NetZero for the Mac coming? NetZero, the Internet Service Provider that provides free Internet Access (in exchange for a non-closable window of advertisements), has plans for a Macintosh version in the future.
