Dayna driver work-around Regarding the problems with Dayna Ethernet cards, as covered last time, don't forget that we have reported that Sonic drivers may fix the Dayna card problem.

AutoStart worm CIAC bulletin The USA Department of Energy CIAC (Computer Incident Advisory Capability) now has a bulletin on the AutoStart 9805 Macintosh Worm Virus. (Thanks, MacVirus.) By the way, there now seem to be at least 5 strains of the virus. Make sure your anti-virus tool of choice is updated (if necessary) to be able to detect all strains.

G3 Series PB heat Several readers are complaining about how hot the G3 Series PowerBooks run, especially with 128MB RAM chips installed. Although not confirmed by Apple, the belief is that the heat may precipitate other problems.
