Mac OS 8.5 Print Window bug Mac OS 8.5 provides the option to print a graphical representation of the contents of a folder using Print Window, located in the File menu. In some cases using Print Window, not all of the icons will print or print completely. A new TIL file (#30859) acknowledges this is a bug.

Eight.Five Plus! lists all Apple OS-related software that has been updated since the release of Mac OS 8.5.

DVD-RAM TuneUp issues Michael Kliehm claims that DVD-RAM TuneUp 1.0.x has a known problem with the Creative DVD-RAM drive. Also, the driver of DVD-RAM TuneUp 1.0.4 Updater may cause Norton Disk Doctor 4.01 to abort disk repairs with an irreparable major error. Software Architects says they are looking into this.

Mac OS 8.5 Navigations Services issue Current versions of Default Folder and ACTION files do not appear in Mac OS 8.5's Navigation Services windows. There is no freeze or anything. You just see no sign of the utilities' features. New versions that work with Nav Services are coming soon.

Daleks updated Does your old copy of Daleks refuse to run on your new Mac? Don't despair. Ron Northrip has created a new version that will run on Power Macs.

Cyberflix gone Speaking of games, The Mac Gamer's Ledge recently reported that Cyberflix (the makers of Titanic: Adventure Out of Time and other games) is getting out of the game business. Sorry to see them go.
