AdobePS save defaults glitch Paul Berkowitz writes: "Adobe have confirmed that there is a problem with the AdobePS 8.6 printer driver. Namely, you can't save new defaults in Page Setup - like US Letter instead of US Letter (Small) - by Option-clicking OK in the Page Setup window, even though a dialog box comes up that says that's what you're doing. This procedure works fine in LaserWriter 8.6.5, but it doesn't work in Adobe PS 8.6."

WordPerfect File menu glitch Chuck Griffin notes a minor problem he has been having with WordPerfect 3.5e long before the free version was released: "After I upgraded to 8.5.1 or 8.6, when I pull down the File menu, it comes up blank. By releasing it and pulling it down again, it shows up as normal. This only happens if WordPerfect 3.5e is installed. Other than that, WordPerfect is absolutely wonderful software." Update: Jefferson Le Blanc did not see this problem on his G3/233 Mac running Mac OS 8.5.

gPort update prevents sleep? Dominique Orbec writes: "Since I installed gPort driver 1.1, Sleeper doesn't work correctly. In particular, my G3/400 (running Mac OS 8.6) doesn't go to sleep automatically (after a specified time) or manually. Reinstalling the old 1.0.3 gPort driver fixed the problem.
