Obsidian, who also created the popular RPG Fallout: New Vegas, is in the process of creating a new RPG for next-generation consoles, according to a job listing spotted by the Official Xbox Magazine.

The listing describes the level designer role as being for a "unique next-generation game".

Requirements include a "love of computer and console role-playing and action games", and responsibilities include "design[ing] game content — quests, NPCs, items, puzzles, et al".

Obsidian has said before that it would love to work on a third Knights of the Old Republic 2 title, and with LucasArts closed, there's still a great deal of confusion regarding what will happen with the Star Wars related gaming properties. Here's hoping.
