Nvidia lists 3D Vision-equipped Acer Aspire Z5673 all-in-one
According to Nvidia, Acer will be unveiling a 3D Vision-equipped Aspire Z5673 all-in-one desktop at CES.
Update: Acer informs us that the Aspire Z5763 will appear in various international markets, but it does not have "imminent" plans to bring it to the U.S. Too bad, because this concept makes a ton of sense.
We don't have this information directly from Acer yet, but according to a release sent out by Nvidia, Acer will be debuting a new all-in-one desktop with built in 3D Vision support at CES.
According to Nvidia's announcement, the Aspire Z5763 all-in-one will feature a 23-inch display, Nvidia GeForce GT440 or GT445M graphics chips, and a Blu-ray drive. It's also one of the first all-in-ones, and perhaps the first all-in-one from a major vendor selling in the U.S. to feature built-in support for Nvidia's 3D Vision technology that enables 3D effects in movies, games, and photo and video content.
Nvidia provided no information regarding the pricing, availability, or other specs in the Aspire Z5763, so we can't report on its CPU, its memory, or other features. We do know that 3D Vision requires 3D glasses, as well as a dedicated emitter device. Our hope is that the emitter is embedded in the system and that the glasses are included in the box. We've followed up with Acer for more information and will update as soon as we find out more.
