Nikon Coolpix digital camera serial connection bug; reader offers a work-around

Sebastiano Castiglioni informs of a Nikon web page that states: "Nikon View does not allow for serial downloading on portable Mac systems (confirmed). Status-This problem has been reported to Japan, and we expect it will be corrected with the next release of Nikon View." Sebastiano found a work-around: The Nikon PC Card adapter EC-AD1 works with PowerBooks with a PC Card slot, even though the adapter is not listed as for the Mac."
