National Hockey League fans now have three more ways to watch their favorite teams play live.

The NHL announced today that its game-streaming service, GameCenter Live, has made its way to the PlayStation 3, Boxee, and Roku set-top boxes.

GameCenter Live allows customers to watch 40 out-of-market NHL games live in HD each week. The app offers the ability to watch entire games up to 48 hours after they were played. In addition, GameCenter Live provides access to over 500 classic games from the NHL Vault.

The PlayStation 3 version of GameCenter Live is available for download on the PlayStation Network for $9.99. PlayStation Plus subscribers can download the app for free. After downloading the app, customers will need to have a GameCenter Live subscription, which costs $169.

GameCenter Live's launch on the PlayStation 3 comes on the heels of Microsoft updating Xbox Live with access to ESPN content. That offering will provide more than 3,500 live and on-demand sporting events in HD each year to Xbox Live Gold subscribers.

Roku owners and Boxee users who access GameCenter Live won't need to pay extra to access the app, but they will need to have the $169 GameCenter Live subscription to watch games.

The NHL's streaming service is joining a few other sporting organizations already available on those products. Roku offers Major League Baseball games and UFC fights on its service . Boxee includes access to live MLB games .
