The NFL is not amused.

The online store of the National Football League is barring fans from ordering customized Atlanta Falcons jerseys with the name "Mexico" emblazoned on the back. That's because star Falcons quarterback Michael Vick, whose No. 7 jersey is one of the hottest sellers for the league, was recently sued for allegedly infecting a woman with herpes. The woman claimed Vick used the pseudonym "Ron Mexico."

The NFL's online shop lets fans customize pro jerseys with their own names. In this case, a "handful" of Mexico jerseys were ordered, but none were fulfilled, NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy told the Associated Press.

"The jerseys are intended for fans who want to have their name on a jersey," McCarthy told the publication. "Obviously, this was in direct reference to recent events. We decided it's inappropriate to sell jerseys with that particular name on it."
