Nexus S launch details

If you're looking to buy the Nexus S, here are few things to know before the smartphone goes on sale Thursday.

The Nexus S is set to go on sale this Thursday, and Best Buy has released details about the launch of the Android 2.3 Gingerbread device.

The Nexus S will be available starting at 8 a.m. ET on a first come, first served basis and will be limited to two per customer. The smartphone can be bought at Best Buy and Best Buy Mobile stores, as well as online, and all retail shops will have demo units, so you can check out the phone first-hand.

In addition, they will have staff to help you sync your e-mail and social networking accounts, set up Bluetooth headsets, and transfer contacts if you need help doing so.

There are three pricing options for the Nexus S. You can purchase it unlocked for $529, with a two-year T-Mobile contract for $199, or with an add-a-line activation for $249.99.
