Newer G3 upgrade disables MacHasp dongle?

Alain St-Amour works with a Power Mac 9500/132. It uses a MacHasp dongle (a hardware key) and some of the software on the drive needs to recognize the dongle in order to run. After installing a Newer PowrMax G3 upgrade, the software no longer recognized the presence of the dongle.

Newer Technology confirmed that they had received other similar reports (all involving the 9500). They are investigating this further.
