New Retrospect Driver update

Dantz has released a driver update to support additional hardware devices in Retrospect. The following updates are now available in English, French, and German:

Retrospect Driver Update 2.2 for Mac: (English, French, German) newly supported devices:

Advanced Driver Kit 1.9 for Mac: (Dantz store) newly supported devices:

• IBM Magstar 3590 with E11 drive

• Tandberg SDLT 220N

• Tandberg SLR60

The RDU 2.2 is free. The ADK 1.9 is $150 as a new purchase and free for existing ADK owners. The RDU is available directly from the Dantz Web site. Drives marked with * no longer require the ADK and are now supported by Retrospect Desktop and Workgroup Backup for Mac (with RDU 2.2). Several readers have noted that this update still does not add support for factory-installed CD-RW drives from Apple.
