While cheap, the new price isn't quite as bargain basement as thewas, which started at a mere £160. The new model has seen upgrades though. It's much slimmer than the previous model and now packs a pin-sharp Full HD screen -- brilliant for movie lovers among you.
It's packing the most up to date version of Android known as 4.3 Jelly Bean and now features a camera on the back to let you send a constant stream of photos of food to Instagram. Early reports of the tablet highlighted a worrying issue with the touchscreen, but that's apparently all been .
At the time of writing, Google is quoting a 1-2 day delivery time. It's possible that this might drop a little if the tablet is too popular. When the Nexus 4 launched last year, demand was so high that delivery estimates were over six weeks and the Play store page continually listed the phone as out of stock.
Speaking of the Nexus 4, Google has just knocked a whopping £80 off the phone's already rock bottom price. It now starts at a ludicrous £160 for the 8GB model, making it the absolute best phone you can get for that kind of money. It's likely that Google has discounted the phone in order to clear out stock ahead of the Nexus 5 launch so if you're keen for new Nexus products, you might want to see what Google has up its sleeves over the coming few months.
