Apple may launch its next generation of MacBook Pros before the month is over.

The new 13-inch and 15-inch models should pop up for sale between October 24 and 25, French blog site MacG.co said Tuesday. Citing an anonymous source, the site said it didn't have information on available configurations -- Apple currently offers both Retina and non-Retina versions of both MacBook Pros in both sizes. But Intel's latest Haswell chip is expected to power the updated laptops.

Apple's new Mac Pro would be available on November 15, according to MacG's source. The iPad 5 and iPad Mini 2 would launch around October 30 or 31. The dates for the new iPads run contrary to Apple's usual practice of kicking off sales of new products on a Friday, so all of this information should be taken with the usual grain of salt.

Apple is expected to unveil the new iPads and new MacBook Pros at a launch event this month, potentially scheduled for October 22.
