New IE threat pops up Calculator, worse
Microsoft has createTextRange() vulnerability first announced yesterday, and presently only causes calc.exe to execute. Experts looking at the exploit code suggest, however, it would be trivial for someone to modify it further. Microsoft recommends that you turn off Active Scripting within IE and avoid untrustworthy sites. I further recommend using another browser, such as Firefox or Opera.
