New HTC One X+ details trickle out

Signs point to a faster, more powerful HTC One X+.

Will HTC give the One X a minor hardware boost? HTC

A smattering of hardware specs for the rumored HTC One X+ arrived online courtesy of an anonymous XDA developer known as Football4PDA.

According to his unconfirmed tweet, the faster and more powerful One X will run Android 4.1 Jelly Bean with HTC Sense 4.5 and offer a 1.6GHz quad-core Tegra 3 processor. Like the original model, the One X+ should also boast 1GB RAM, 32GB of internal storage, and a 1,800mAh battery.

HTC, as many of you know, has an event slated for September 19 where it could unveil a host of new products, including a pair of tablets . It's entirely possible that the show will focus more on Windows Phone announcements, but I'm holding out for at least one or two Android phones .

Given the rumors of the One X+ have been circulating for a while now, it's perhaps time to put this one to bed.

As far as pricing is concerned, I would imagine HTC might keep the same $199 sticker that came with the first model. The specs are a decent boost over the original One X, but not quite enough to merit a higher price.
