Mac OS: Out Of Memory Errors With File Synchronization A new Apple TIL file (#24711) describes the cause of an "out of memory" error message that appears when using File Synchronization. This issue was recently covered here at MacFixIt. It notes: "The easiest way to prevent this error is to eliminate the custom icons on the folders being synchronized."

Mac OS 8.5 and Type 7 errors A new Apple TIL file (#24710) claims that Type 7 errors when running Mac OS 8.5 are probably due to third party extension conflicts. However, "you can probably work around the problem by enabling virtual memory." The file explains why this error is suddenly more common in Mac OS 8.5.

Get Info and AppleShare Another TIL file (#30825) reports the loss of comments from the Get Info window of files stored on an AppleShare 6 server.

iMac Revision B An Apple TIL file (#58166) has a convenient table that describes what's different in Revision B of the iMac. In addition to what was previously reported here, it states that the modem firmware is updated from version 1.0 to 2.2.
