LaserWriter 8500: Erroneous Safety Notice In Paper Tray (#24536) If your 8500 came with a print out that says: "Caution - Controller PWB must be installed before shipping to customers. Without controller PWB this machine does not meet safety requirement," ignore the message. The TIL file states: "Customers who receive the notice with their printer can discard the notice and safely use the printer."
Network Assistant 3.0, 3.5: Increasing Performance (#24533) Problem: "I am using Network assistant to observe or control a screen and sometimes the mouse movement becomes erratic and choppy. If I am controlling another computer it seems to take a long time to perform any task." The TIL file discusses what to do. The main advice is to select the "Only Send changes made by QuickDraw" preference option.
Emailer plug-in (#24534) Q. I just installed Emailer 2.0v3. I read about the "Emailer Contextual Plugin." Where can I get it? A. It is no longer available.
Update: "The plug-in can be found at Emailer & EmailTools Tips, Tools & Highlights Page. It's the beta copy that was released during the breakup of Claris.
