Will Mac security fears rise in line with growth? Silicon.com speculates that security threats to the Mac platform will grow with popularity increase. "Last week it was revealed that Apple's shipments of its Mac machines had shown double digit growth, year-on-year, with analysts suggesting the growth is set to continue with more PC switchers in the pipeline. And while that is great news for Apple and its marketing prowess, it has coincided with the question of Mac security rearing its head once more, with three large security vendors issuing words of warning for the Mac faithful while Apple remains tight-lipped about the security of its machines." Vodafone USB device debuts Vodafone UK has announced that it will be launching the Vodafone Mobile Connect USB Modem, a new version of its 3G broadband data card designed especially for users of the latest generation of laptops, desktops and Apple MacBooks, later this year. "The device, which will be available in the autumn, will allow customers to access Vodafone's high speed 3G broadband service by simply plugging it into the USB slot on their computer." More.

Adult Swim, CNN content added to iTunes Apple has announced that programming from CNN, Adult Swim and Cartoon Network is now available for purchase and download on the iTunes Music Store. The new content features such favorites as Cartoon Network?s 'Johnny Bravo,' Adult Swim's 'Aqua Teen Hunger Force' and original episodes of the award-winning documentary series 'CNN Presents,' all available for viewing on a computer or iPod.
